- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience writing or editing content like UI text, support articles, or knowledge base articles
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Rally
- Basic knowledge of source control tools like Git or Azure DevOps Repos
- Experience using Confluence and SharePoint
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with graphic editing tools and screen capture software
- Experience leading technical writers and helping others succeed
- Strong interest in helping users get the information they need
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with writing and editing complex software documentation
- Strong grammar skills and the ability to create clear, simple documentation
- Great team player who can give and receive constructive feedback
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Experience working with teams across different time zones
- Familiarity with MadCap Flare, or similar tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Desire to stay up to date with new writing and design trends
