Overview

The Manager, Professional Services is responsible for the success of the symplr Directory consulting team. Leads and shapes a group of highly driven consultants and ensures the successful implementation of symplr Directory to customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer implementations
  • Provide leadership and support to the implementation team members with client interactions and escalations as needed
  • Work collaboratively across symplr teams to ensure a successful implementation of symplr Directory
  • Identify, propose, and lead process improvement initiatives related to workflows, procedures, standards, and inter-department hand-offs
  • Develop, evaluate, and monitor key performance indicators across the team to include but not limited to billable utilization, revenue, resource management and time to start on projects
  • Manage and monitor resource planning and scheduling across the implementation team
  • Provide guidance and feedback to encourage and promote team member’s success and growth through regular developmental conversations
  • Understand and champion practices and processes within immediate area of responsibility to stakeholders within and outside of the team
  • Participate and provide input on strategic initiatives at the department-level
  • Lead, monitor, and communicate strategic initiatives to the team and key stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five years of experience in related area as an individual contributor, with one to two years of experience leading people/project teams 
  • Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel 
  • Excellent time management, resource organization and priority establishment skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills that foster effective and efficient team productivity
  • Outstanding analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to demonstrate effective conflict management
  • Ability to effectively influence and guide customers
